Just a thought....

  Back before I had my daughter I signed up to sell Mary Kay. I ended up not being very successful but I thought recently that I should give it another try. I think that Mary Kay has a stigma of being for old women, TRUUU! On the other hand, if it works does it really matter? Really???? I don't know just a thought, Mary is callin' my name shawty!

That smells like GOOOOOD!!!!

One day I was baking brownies for the kiddos and my youngest came in the kitchen to check on me. As soon as he asked me what I was making, I opened the oven so he could see. HOT FUDGE BROWNIES! His eyes closed and he took a deep breath, then he said "MMMMMMMMMM Mommy that smells like GOOOOOOOOOD!". That joke has been in the fam ever since. Anytime we smell something that smells nice we say that. This post is about my current perfume situation. I don't know about you but I am a sucker for smelly-goodness. I have also been very particular about the perfumes I wear since forever. So, here are the four that I am wearing right now.

Truth be told my current favorite is Hippie Chic, as you can see the bottle is almost gone. I hope there is another bottle under the tree this year!

The VS Nior was an impulse buy. It was on clearance at the BX for dirt cheap and I just couldn't resist. It's a nice little light fruity vanilla-ish kinda scent. I kinda have to be in the mood to wear it though.

The Pink is a funny story. I cam in the military in 2001. While in training I did a lot of shopping. I was in the garage and I ran across my bucket from training and along with my mil-paperwork what did I find? That full bottle of Pink! Yaaay me, sometimes hording is good??? Probably not but, either way I was happy to find and start wearing it again.

Ohhh Womanity, what can I say? How I love you so. Last year it was my go to winter scent. It has a slightly smokey note to it. I know that sounds strange but, it's a pretty amazing scent.

I love these scents for my personal taste, they all work well with my body chemistry.

Any Ulta Fans?

I am a fan of Ulta simply because I am a fan of FREE things. And they normally offer a LOT of free things. I bought the two items below.

And I got all this stuff for free. Check it out...

And just so it's clear it is a 13 piece set to include brushes and a mini nail polish (polish not in picture). Believe it or not the quality seems to be pretty good. The blush looks ashy on my skin and I am not digging the snake skin print. All in all a great deal for the price for sure.

Carol's Daughter (CD)

Yesterday I got a box in the mail! I got some CD products as a belated birthday gift from the hub. I ordered, he paid. Can't beat that deal! I have been hearing great things about the CD products and the plan for me to get some never actually panned out until now.

I got the STRONGER, INVINCIBLE NATURAL SET for my hair which has the hair butter in it. There are a few different sets to choose from so it's worth checking out.

I also ordered the AÇAI HYDRATING SKINCARE SET for my facial situation. More to come on these products.

Abandoned.....

I have completely abandoned the thought of blogging it seems like. But, ever since my recent relocation it seems I have a bit of extra time on my hands (go figure)! So, I am back to do a thing or two on here..... See you soon.
